Case Study

Costa Coffee - Fire door inspection survey

Scrubs Contract Services has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive fire door survey at Costa Coffee Roastery, covering 7,000m2 across four floors. The survey encompassed non-invasive inspections of all marked and recorded fire doors, considering their general condition and construction, especially those situated on existing fire compartmentation lines or identified as 'fire rated' through signage.

The assessment aimed to evaluate the serviceability and condition of the fire doors, providing detailed recommendations for remedial actions to ensure compliance with statutory fire door regulations. The project adhered to the Scrubs Contract Services BM Trada Fire Door Q-Mark Certification maintenance/ inspection scheme.
